Lisa Janz’ coaching business provides career development coaching to individuals and groups. We are so glad you would like to make use of our career supports and ask that you take a moment to understand these Terms and Conditions, which by using our website or services you are fully agreeing to and accepting.
The terms and conditions below apply to all coaching and mentoring services provided by Lisa Janz to any individual or organisation (“the client”) and constitute the contract for the service to be provided by Lisa Janz for the client. The term ‘coaching’ as here used covers career coaching and employability coaching for clients and where applicable includes mentoring or supervision services provided for clients, coaches or others.
Coaching is not psychological counselling or any type of therapy, and should not be construed as such.
The date of purchase of any service provided by Lisa Janz shall be deemed to be the start date for the service. Where any client is unhappy with any of the terms and conditions they can contact Lisa Janz via email@example.com to discuss any concerns and see if they can be resolved before the first coaching session or any other service. Participation by any individual in the first coaching session or sending/exchange of personal documents such as CV, cover letter, or résumés constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Responsibility & Commitment
Lisa Janz will seek to enable the client to set and achieve goals that will help to bring about desired outcomes for the client. The client has sole responsibility for any decisions they may make, following coaching with Lisa Janz. Employability Coach Lisa Janz accepts no liability for the client’s actions. Lisa Jany has no liability for any loss incurred by any client, whether financial or otherwise, following commencement of coaching sessions for any perceived failure by the client, whether justified or otherwise, to achieve a material improvement in the quality of life or to achieve their desired outcomes or goals.
Clarity & Style
Lisa Janz will discuss with the client their preferred style of coaching. The client has the right to talk openly and candidly with their coach, and the client is encouraged to discuss any concerns they have with Lisa Jany in any area of the coaching process. Lisa Janz welcomes openness and honesty. Feedback about the service is welcomed and can be given during a coaching session or by writing to the coach.
Lisa Janz, also known as JobCoachGermany, is continually striving to ensure the standard of service it provides to its clients remains outstanding. At the end of the coaching process, or series of coaching sessions, the client will be asked to complete a feedback form.
Personal information or business information supplied to Lisa Janz by the client in coaching sessions or via email or shared via cloud will be treated as confidential. It will not be disclosed to a third party without the client’s prior permission, save where required by law.
All documentation and information relating to the client will be held according to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) which is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy in the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA); except as permitted by the client in writing or as required by law.

You are solely responsible for any information submitted by you to the website or submitted to the coach via email/cloud. You are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied by you is true, accurate, up-to-date and not misleading or likely to mislead or deceive and that it is not discriminatory, obscene, offensive, defamatory or otherwise illegal, unlawful or in breach of any applicable legislation, regulations, guidelines or codes of practice or the copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights of any person in any jurisdiction. You are also responsible for ensuring that all information, data and files are free of viruses or other routines or engines that may damage or interfere with any system or data prior to being submitted to the coach. We reserve the right to remove any information supplied by you at our sole discretion, at any time and for any reason without being required to give any explanation.
The coaching schedule will be arranged between Lisa Janz and the client. Lisa Janz will recommend the frequency of coaching sessions based on a professional assessment of the client’s requirements. This recommendation, or plan, is not binding and may be altered and adjusted throughout the coaching journey by mutual agreement, in accordance with the terms set out in this agreement. Sessions can only be rearranged in accordance with the section in these terms and conditions headed “Rearranging Sessions”.
The number of coaching sessions will be agreed at the start of coaching program between Lisa Janz and the client and confirmed by Lisa Janz by email or written correspondence. Where no specific number is agreed, sessions will be provided on a session by session basis. Full payment is due before or at the first session unless otherwise agreed and specified with the client. Additional sessions can be booked thereafter.
The length of each session is usually 60 minutes but will vary based on the service offered by Lisa Janz to the client.
Coaching will take place between the client and their coach face-to-face (venue by mutual agreement), via zoom, Google hangouts or by telephone (client calls coach).
Lisa Janz may assign the client tasks or exercises to complete between coaching sessions. Not completing these tasks may slow the client’s progress in gaining improved quality of life or achieving desired business or personal outcomes. Where possible, clients are requested to submit any information requested by Lisa Janz relating to assignments at least 24 hours before the coaching session when they are to be discussed. Lisa Janz will provide feedback on completed assignments during coaching sessions.
The client may contact Lisa Janz by phone or email between sessions to share a success or seek clarification on a coaching issue. Support between sessions is seen by Lisa Janz as a necessary part of the coaching process. Lisa Janz will always advise a client in advance if the nature of a client’s contact is likely to incur an additional charge, and no such charges will be imposed without the client’s agreement.
In return for the fees payable by the client (or by a third party on their behalf), Lisa Janz agrees to provide the service as described below and in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below. The client agrees to pay fees for the service on the terms and conditions set out below (in situations where a third party pays the fees, the third party counts as an agent acting on behalf of the client). Fees can be paid by direct money transfer (N26) using IBAN and online using the Paypal payments systems. Where receipts are requested by the client, they will be sent by e-mail unless otherwise requested. Fees are payable in advance of each coaching session unless otherwise agreed. Where payment has not been received by Lisa Janz in advance of a coaching session Lisa Janz is not obliged to provide the session.
Money back guarantee
Any client who is dissatisfied with any coaching session can ask for a full refund for that particular session and this will be given, provided that the request for a refund has been made within five days of the coaching session. In such cases, the client is required to put this in writing outlining their reasons for the dissatisfaction. If a client obtains a refund for a coaching session in accordance with this clause, then the client and Lisa Janz each have the option to terminate this contract immediately, confirming such termination by email or letter. If either party does terminate this contract in such circumstances then Lisa Janz will have no obligation to provide any further coaching sessions to the client and the client will, in turn, be entitled to a refund for any future coaching sessions for which they have already paid which are no longer to be provided.
Cancellation & Rearranging Sessions
If the client needs to rearrange a coaching session, they should provide at least 24 hours’ notice. No refunds will be given to clients for unused coaching sessions unless 24 hours’ notice has been given. In exceptional circumstances Lisa Janz may need to rearrange a coaching session; in these circumstances, Lisa Janz will use reasonable endeavours to provide a mutually satisfactory alternative appointment with the client.
In exceptional circumstances, such as illness or unavailability due to bereavement or other commitments, inappropriate behaviour by the client, actual or potential conflict of interest, or other reasons, Lisa Janz can decide to terminate the service to the client early or refuse or be unable to provide further coaching sessions to the client. In such a circumstance the client will be given reasonable notice of termination by Lisa Janz where practicable and will be refunded any advance payments made for coaching sessions not yet provided.
There may be occasions when Lisa Janz may recommend to the client that they seek an alternative service more suited to their current needs. In this event, Lisa Janz will fully discuss the reasons for the recommendation with the client. It is the client’s sole responsibility to decide whether to follow the recommendation and Lisa Janz does not accept any liability for the outcome of any decisions the client chooses to make.
Whilst every care is taken in the preparation of professional/corporate coaching services, Lisa Jany does not warrant that the information provided is in every respect accurate or complete, and they are not responsible for any errors or omissions or the results obtained from the use of such information. Users are encouraged to confirm any such information or advice received with other qualified sources, and if necessary, obtain medical or psychiatric advice from suitably qualified professional personnel. The professional/corporate coaching information and services provided and purchased from the website or from Coach Lisa Janz directly is designed to help you to achieve your future goals and ambitions, it does not provide counselling or therapy. If for any reason you believe that you may be suffering from any psychological or medical condition you are strongly advised to consult a qualified physician.
Lisa Janz’ website, and any files or documents that you download from it or receive via email from the coach, is not guaranteed to be free from any so-called computer viruses or malicious codes, and it is strongly recommended that you check for such viruses before down-loading it to your computer equipment.
You are not to reproduce any content from Lisa Janz nor her website without the express permission of Lisa Janz. Our website and services contain material, which is owned by, or licensed to Lisa Janz. This material includes, but is not limited to, design, layout, look, appearance, text, images, audio, videos, graphics, website or services content or propriety information (collectively, the “Lisa Janz Content”). You may not, directly or indirectly, use, or in any way exploit in any format whatsoever any of the Lisa Janz Content, in whole or in part, including the removal or alteration of advertising, without our specific prior written consent. We grant you a non-exclusive and limited license to access the website and services for personal use of the information contained within.
The use of the coaching services and the website and any agreements entered into through the website are to be governed by and construed in accordance with German law. The courts of Quedlingburg, Germany is to have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with the use of the coach’s services or the website or any agreement made through with the coach.
Some of the goods or services offered through the website may not be lawful or may otherwise not be permitted in certain countries outside Germany. If you attempt to order, receive, purchase or otherwise benefit from any such goods or services, we do not accept any liability for any losses suffered by you in using the website and coaching services which you would not have suffered had you been accessing the website as a German resident (including as a result of us being prevented from dealing with any application or enquiry by any law, regulation or other rulings applicable in any country).
We reserve the right to change, modify, or amend these terms. The new terms will replace any prior terms to the extent that there are any inconsistencies. Use of our website or services after modification, implies that you consent to the policies as amended.
