Hello there, I’m Lisa.

I am an Employability Specialist with a passion for the future of work. It is my job to help you find a career that makes you happy, and give you the tools you need to succeed in it.

I’m from a little village near Magdeburg in the North of Germany. You’ve probably heard about the fact that Germany represents great quality.

Lisa

Myself being German, I cannot deny this statement and I would like to support your journey to the next job and at the same time convince you of my skills as Online Coach for Career Planning, People Development and Job Applications.

Start of a great career

While I was studying for my Bachelor’s degree, I worked for a travel agency that organised bicycle tours along various rivers in Germany. My colleagues there pointed out to me that I have strong communicative skills and empathy with customers which was very helpful for customer service issues.
Between 2012 and 2014 I worked for the HR department of Europe’s largest car manufacturer. Here, I first encountered Workforce PlanningRecruiting and Talent Sourcing, Performance Analytics as well as People and Leadership Development

The different teams I worked with helped me understand how a large scale business is running and how important the work of each employee in the HR department is. Knowing how to deal with sensitive data as well as how to report to the Board of Management was a massive learning for me. My great comprehension and my organisational talent helped me to quickly connect with team members as well as associates of other departments.

Back To Uni

Having realised how much fun HR work is, I decided to further increase my knowledge in the field of HR development. Hence, I went back to university and studied International Vocational Education where I learned about pedagogy, didactics, different teaching, consulting and professional training methods, project management, and different personality tests

Next to my studies, I worked for a European multinational software corporation for enterprise software from 2014 until 2016. My focus was on quality management and the testing of software modules, especially Human Capital Management. Certainly, the previous experience at the HR department had helped a lot to explain the end-user’s point of view.

However, this still was not enough for my inquisitiveness. I wanted to further develop my cultural awareness and fortunately, had the chance to go abroad and study another Master’s degree in education. So, I went to the UK and learned about general education theories, online learning platforms and how to teach online. Besides, I was able to compare the different education systems between Germany and the UK.

At this point, I fell in love with England, the politeness of the British, and their food. It was clear to me that I would not have been able to leave the country anytime soon.

Qualified Development Coach

My Job abroad

As a result, I started applying for jobs in the UK and I was successful. That’s when I started my job as Project Management Assistant for HR development at the Purchasing department of one of Britain’s luxury vehicle manufacturers. Here, I learned what it means to work abroad with an international team.

This job helped me grow my HR skills even further as the tasks were so diverse and complex. Not only did I establish and introduce a department bespoke onboarding system, but also did I develop a competence based training structure for the employees’ succession planning.

The Hike Of My Life

Unfortunately, the British voted for the Brexit which resulted in the working situation in England being quite insecure. Plus the fact that travelling back and forth between my family and friends in Germany and my beloved job in the UK was very exhausting. It was then, in 2017, when I decided to go back home and start my own coaching company to share my experience with clients like you – clients who need advice with regards to job applications, job interviews, moving abroad for a job, or simply switching jobs.

Foundation of my own Business

Since starting my own business, I was lucky and have accompanied 400+ clients to help them understand the German job market, the application process, what an employer is looking for in a future employee, how to improve their resume and give them a strategic plan to set their personal job goals and land the most incredible jobs in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Moving abroad is difficult. Hence, I will also prepare you for the potential move to Germany and advise you about our culture and what it takes to integrate into the community. My digital products, online group coaching programs as well as 1-on-1 coaching sessions are accessibly by customers around the world through the flexible approach of online coaching. It is my job to help you find a career that makes you happy, and give you the tools you need to succeed in it.

I offer my services in both, English and German. Being able to work remotely is not only great for me because I can work from anywhere where I have an internet connection, but it’s also great for you as it saves you the hassle to come to Germany to receive a job coaching from a German who knows the market. My clients are from all over the world: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi-Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Syria, Tunisia, UK, USA, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Vietnam.

My mission is to offer national and international professionals support along the application process. The belief which drives me forward every day is that all candidates should have equal opportunities to be invited to job interviews, conduct them confidently and thus win their dream job through strategy and an extraordinary preparation. I do this with my most important values: Authenticity, Fairness, and Empathy.

For a long time now, I have dreamed of a world in which people follow their hearts, especially when it comes to their job. Whenever I can help an applicant define their dream job and actually win it for themselves, I get one step closer to my vision.
